Cheetah Wireless Technologies, Inc., (CWTI) specializes in microcell
technology. Microcell technology is defined as wireless cells that can be
utilized on existing infrastructure. They do not require dedicated tower sites
and blend into the urban or rural landscape. One of the keys to microcell
technology is that it is easy to deploy and spread the workload amongst its
peers. This provides the highest level of service to the customer. As part of
the larger picture, failure of a device has little or no impact on the overall
performance of the network.
Based on extensive of research and testing, CWTI has selected
various microcell technologies for deployment of the network. The CWTI Network
Operations Center (NOC) has been engineered to allow common back office support
to all its microcell users.
Centralize account administration, billing, technical support and user plans
that allow customers to cross platforms. Each technology is briefly described
by following the links below or in the banner above . Some of the key advantage
each microcell technology offers to the users of the CWTI Network are:
- Wide area 802.11 Mesh architecture in the access points
- 802.11 Canopy Coverage
- In door technology
- Secure back haul
- No single point failure
- Support for Concentrated Hot Zone Deployments
- 54MB of backhaul capacity
- Antenna configurations to support multiple story buildings
- Aesthetically pleasing device
